Various dials provide information on various time indications, calendars, the position of the planets, the phases of the moon's appearance, etc. On top of the center section of the cabinet, which houses the pendulum clock that starts and turns everything, is a wooden statue of Urania the muse of astronomy from Greek mythology. Her name means "heavenly."
