French pendulum

The movement of the French mantel clock from circa 1820 with hunter and hunting scene before and after restoration. There was a lot to do with this clock. In addition to the standard treatment to bring the timepiece back into condition, many other actions had to be performed. For example, the anchor wheel had to be repaired, ugly repairs from the past had to be reversed as much as possible, screws had to be made up, formatted and blued again, the hour hand bush had to be replaced, the wind vane had to be replaced, the cabinet had to be dismantled in order to clean the parts.
