Frisian short tail with ship mechanism

Frisian short tail with mechanism circa 1780 with a cabinet of elm wood. There are so-called spinning tops made of linden wood on the hood. The slide has a gilded lead pendulum window decoration depicting Father Time or Chronos. The movement runs for one day and has a going train with anchor escapement and a single striking mechanism on closing disc. The clock strikes full hours a bell and the half hours with 1 bell strike. There is also an alarm clock. On the restored dial, we see the four seasons on a background of gold leaf in the corners around the numeral ring. In the bar is the mechanism with a swaying ship and two mermaids that shoot up from the water. Below are some more photos of the Frisian short tail with ship mechanism.
