Standing Amsterdam watch signed Hk Gerret Ruempol a Zutphen

Standing Amsterdam watch, last quarter of the 18th century. The special and remarkable thing about this clock is the signature, which belongs to a member of the prominent Ruempol family of clockmakers from Laren-Gelderland and the surrounding area.

I was commissioned by the Stedelijk Museum Zutphen to restore the movement of this clock and to provide it with new gut belts. Below is a photo impression of the work.
