French pendulum

This mantel clock can be dated to circa 1820. The mantel clock case is made of cast bronze that is fire-gilded after all finishes. The timepiece has a white enamel dial with steel Brequet hands. It is an 8-day movement with an anchor escapement going train and a half-hourly striking mechanism on a bell.
