Frisian chair clock

Frisian chair clock with mermaids, last quarter of the 18th century. This chair clock has beautiful lead work that has been restored and provided with gold leaf as it was originally. The coat of arms of the hooded lead shows a Utrecht alliance coat of arms.
Movement, dial and case have been restored; This is therefore a total restoration that ensures that the clock looks like it was originally made.
The movement runs for 1 day and the going train has a verge escapement and a single striking mechanism on a closing disc. The clock strikes the full hours on a bell and the half hours with 1 bell strike. This clock also has an alarm device.
