Interesting (temporary) exhibition!
Astronomical Cabinet - Planetarium Friesland
Unique exhibition entitled "Astronomical Cabinet" reveals a rare astronomical masterpiece from the year 1771. I and my colleague have now dismantled the astronomical cabinet again from Franeker, transported it and rebuilt it and made it working in Museum/Sterrenwacht Sonnenborgh in Utrecht where you can admire it again for a long time.
Visitors will have the chance to see this unique work of art in all its glory while learning more about its fascinating history and importance. The exhibition offers not only a glimpse into the past, but also into the evolution of astronomy over the centuries.
Don't miss this unique opportunity to participate in this journey through time and space, where the past and future of the universe converge in the heart of Friesland.
